At YABC we have a program called Learning to Work (LTW) which provides students the opportunity to work while going to school. Through this program students are assigned to an internship where they will gain valuable experience in the world of work and develop skills that they can take with them in your future careers!
Internship Details
WHO IS ELIGIBLE
Full Time YABC Student - someone who attends only YABC evening classes
Shared Instruction Student - someone who attends both day school and YABC evening classes
$15/hr
up 15+ hours per week (for full time YABC students*)
up 10+ hours per week (for Shared Instruction student**)
Daily check-in via google meets
Weekly Workshop on Fridays

Send an email to OContaste@schools.nyc.gov notifying the Internship Developer, Mr. Omari Contaste that you applied.
Await the nomination email from EBANKreturnmail@schools.nyc.gov with the subject "NYC Department of Education - CO-OP Student Nomination (Action Required)." Complete the Applicant Gateway using the link provided in said email.
the Applicant Gateway is comprised of an Emergency Contact form and an online I-9 form
Verify your I-9 form by submitting a picture of permissible documents via email to the Internship Developer, Mr. Omari Contaste at OContaste@schools.nyc.gov

Await your Congratulation Letter notifying you're officially hired and authorized to work
